Two Minute Dreams

I hope to update once more this weekend.*I have only a vague idea of what the meaning of this is. (I did NOT paint it in two minutes btw)

*It's only one bonus speedpaint so I decided to put it into this post

Knights Who Say Ni! + another quick sketch

For those who've seen "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" I made a really fast speedfanart.
I'm also adding one quick doodle I drew yesterday. (It takes up actually more place than my knights)

Update

A few recent pieces.

Pied Piper of

My entry for the contest called "Pimp This Sketch" at www.polykarbonbbs.comThere was this cat character so I was considering some background to it. I realized that cats hunt mice and knew that the Pied Piper did the same so I somehow wanted to connect those two concepts (I have always wanted to paint the Piper). The kids, as well as the cat, wear masks since that's what the whole story is about (also historically). The piper was supposed to get rid of rats but later took the children too. When I was younger the story really creeped me out. The piper was such a mysterious character, partly really scary but on the other hand there was still something attracting to him. Now I consider it one of the best tales ever. Has the right amount of magic, mystery and fear in a pretty solid story.

Old Stuff

Time Lapse

Recently, there was this "Time Lapse" contest running on www.polykarbonbbs.com . The task was to paint the same place twice, under different circumstances, in different moments in time.
Although I'm not entirely satisfied and know that both pictures could use some additional attention, I think that the result looks pretty good.

A spontaneous idea struck me. What if megaliths were only a giant domino built by some ehm... giants (obviously), I also considered aliens but since I loathe all this "paleo-SETI" nonsense I rejected it pretty fast - and also it is much easier for me to draw a huge robot.
Perhaps after thousands of years of hesitation, the machine is covered with shrubbery, the megaliths damaged. Humans cannot see the obvious they are all focused on the stones unaware that a few centimetres under the shrub rests something more important and of greater meaning.
